This Cookie Statement is a supplement to the Privacy Statement of Musisum B.V. Musisum offers a platform for band artists and fans on www.musisum.com (hereinafter the "Website"). What are cookies?

Cookies are simple small files that are sent along when using our Website. We also use techniques similar to cookies that, like cookies, store certain minimal information on your browser or device. Musisum uses functional cookies. These are small pieces of information that our server sends to your browser or Musisum application so that it functions properly and completely. The use of Musisum is also facilitated with functional cookies, and it prevents you from having to log in repeatedly.

Analytics cookies

Musisum uses Google Analytics, among other things, to keep track of how often the service is used and to analyze, for example, which pages are viewed well or less well. This helps us to further improve the service.

Marketing / tracking cookies

By placing tracking or marketing cookies, we can keep our communication, recommendations, promotions, and advertisements relevant. These marketing cookies make it possible to collect and track your browsing behavior on our Website and beyond. We can use this information to display Musisum advertisements on other websites or platforms after you have visited us. For example, a trailer of a new artist might appear on Facebook.

Placing cookies

When visiting our Website and using the service, several cookies are automatically placed. These are functional cookies and specific analytics cookies from Google Analytics that do not infringe on your privacy. Specific information regarding responsibility

In certain cases, such as when using the Facebook pixel (which allows advertisements to be tailored to your preferences), Musisum and Facebook both fulfill the role of 'joint controller' as intended in the GDPR. In this context, agreements have been made about the distribution of responsibilities. Our Service on other platforms and via apps

When using the Service via other platforms or via our apps that are available on the iOS or Android platform, use is made of functionalities and platforms that are managed by third parties who may process (personal) data. Think of the iOS platform from Apple, the Android platform from Google, and the various platforms of Smart TVs. These websites and platforms have a separate privacy policy. For more information about this, we refer you to the relevant privacy statements of these parties.

In our apps, we also use techniques similar to cookies for the purposes mentioned earlier. This allows us to collect a resettable device ID from your device. Like cookies, resettable device IDs are used to make online advertisements more relevant and for analysis and optimization purposes. Google Firebase

We use Google Firebase for analytics functionalities, crashlytics, remote config, and the processing of push notifications.

App stores

To be able to offer, update, and install the Musisum app, we must use Apple iTunes Connect, Google Play Store, or the App store of the TV manufacturer. For information about the processing of personal data, we refer you to the privacy statement of these parties.
