Zep plays drums! Zep is making a dream come true with Zep & Friends!! Starting on a kid’s drumkit and playing with his own band ‘Funkanizers’ when he was 13 years old. He discovered that working as a musician and bandleader is more than playing your gigs. Taking care of logistics, communication, planning, vision and being a great colleague gave him a valuable network of musicians, singers, DJ’s and producers. He started studying drums at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.During his study he continues to tour with his band and with artists like Fais who goes around the world with 100.000.000 streams. Zep has played at lots of Dutch Radio & TV shows and killed at festivals in front audiences of ten thousand and more. It’s from this fertile ground that Zep & Friends has developed into the awesome show it is nowadays. Besides drumming, Zep writes & produces lots of music. In his own studio he composes new tracks and puts together brand new shows, with the help of all these talented friends from all over the whole world. Like when he created a 60 min show and performed it live at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. Combining playing on his drumkit and working with backing tracks he gives a live version of a wide variety of Electronic Dance Music. On top of these highly danceable fundaments his fellow musicians, vocalist and incredible dancers are offering a show that convinces both the EDM and the pop music aficionados.
