Wilson A.

Wilson A. started out as a Google Drive poem collection that got shared with the world increasingly more from 2022 onwards. Combining the witty, sometimes painfully relatable lyrics of singer, lyricist and frontman Thijs Hoekstra with the sharp and unexpected guitar parts of lead guitarist and keyboardist Ryan Wennekes, all the while being supported by solid - and at times even hypnotic - drums (Bep Leendertse) and bass (Boris Vissers) parts, leads to a unique blend of danceable sing-alongs that are best served live, at small venues and at (slightly above) room temperature. After releasing their self-titled EP in 2023 featuring the single "Talk About Running", the band has currently released multiple singles, among which their latest single "Way Out".
