Villa Rosie consists of three members, all from varying geographical backgrounds, but met within the same social and musical circles here in the Netherlands. Tom McCann sings and plays guitar, and is from Birmingham England. Jack Koning is the local lad from Volendam who plays drums. And then there's Lovis Berger all the way from Germany, he plays bass. The three lads share a love of indie music, and this brings a harmonised chemistry to their playing and musicianship. Their first release YCOLIPAOT, sees the first batch of songs cooked up by the band, and served in a digestible four track EP offering. It was recorded by local up-and-coming producer Niels 'the wizard' Maurer, at the newly renovated Aerial Pursuit Studios in Volendam, last summer.
