Tonsil is an eclectic vocal force from mid-Missouri that draws inspiration from alternative, electronic, metalcore, and film composers to create a unique genre-defying sound. Tonsil's impressive range and gritty voice take listeners on a raw journey, with each song depicting a new chapter in a deeply personal narrative. Speaking on the reason for wearing their handcrafted headpiece, Tonsil says "It's not so much about concealing my identity, that's not a big secret. It's more of a deterrent for overstimulation, curating my visual character, and culling the anxiety about what I'm doing with my face. It helps keep focus on my voice."
