Deep but approachable, varied but melodic. That’s the motto of The Violet Parade. With a rich palet of influences, this band from Amsterdam/Leiden plays catchy indierock. With dynamic songs filled with catchy choruses and surprising transitions, this new band is ready to conquer the Netherlands. The Violet Parade combines the dreamy style of Slowdive with the dynamics of Foals and the rough edges of Joy Division. But they have an unmistakable sound all their own, melodic and compelling. Accessible, but never predictable. The Violet Parade are: Erik Nusselder (vocals), Michiel Kuis (drums), Sikko Stokking (bass and backing vocals) and Stephan Besser (guitar and backing vocals).
