The Red Jacks is an independent Punk Rock trio from the north of France that was born at the end of 2019, just before the pandemic. It is composed of Alicia Poznic (20 years old, guitar / vocals), Valentin Goubet (24 years old, bass) and Adrien Pelissier (20 years old, drums). Newly formed, the trio then had to get to know each other as a group and as an individual through a screen. In defiance of these restrictions, The Red Jacks has been able to forge links and compose several songs. In February 2021, they released their first demo 'Tripping', a groovy-rock sound to make people dance despite the pandemic and the many lockdowns. Growing up under the influence of groups from different backgrounds such as Nirvana, The White Stripes or Paramore, the band has always been open regarding the definition of their style, offering pieces grunge, pop rock, garage rock or punk ... The group tells us their stories through songs without complex, like a rebellious and liberated youth, imposing no barrier on what not to say or do.
