London-based band The Great Leslie are carving a name for themselves in the alt-rock scene, using slick songwriting and unique production to create instant classics that stick with you. In a comparatively short time they've racked up a number of successes; their riff-driven release MONEY and summer, post-pandemic track SEE YOU AGAIN were both crowned BBC Introducing’s Track of the Week. Their anthemic tonic to self-flagellation, OUT OF MY HANDS was featured on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch whilst THAT'S ALRIGHT was played by Johnny Doom on Kerrang. EVERYTHING FROM LAST NIGHT then followed and was hailed 'an instant hit' by Radio X's John Kennedy. The last 3 releases were also hugely supported by former Radio 1 DJ Janice Long on BBC Radio Wales. Towards the end of 2021 the band released a further two indie bangers, YOU LOST YOURSELF and ANNA, the latter being named Manchester XS's track of the week whilst also securing them a place in the Kerrang / Marshall The Deal final. For 2022, The Great Leslie has begun by releasing a poppier tune; HOLD ON TO MY EX demonstrates how diverse the band are whilst still retaining their signature style. The Great Leslie have a soaring aesthetic, blistering direction and are an alternative powerhouse to reckon with.
