Originally kick-started in the echoes of 00's guitar bands such as The
Libertines and The Strokes, the four-piece from The Hague have been restlessly creating a musical multiverse of their own. The Bohemes are brothers Léon Huisman on guitar and lead vocals, 
Gabriël Huisman on drums, Nigel de Vette on guitar and Dex de Fijter
on bass. Album ‘Are You Still Awake?’ to be released later this year The last single 'What Happens When You Press Escape' follows well-received single 'Always Out At Midnight' from the same album. Both mixed by Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender), mastered by Tim Debney (Kasabian, The Libertines). They kicked off 2025 playing a showcase during Eurosonic. Their sound is “bristle sharp, scrappy, and refreshingly unpolished, like a night out that spirals ridiculously out of control with hints of The Jam, The Libertines and even early Arctic Monkeys.”
