A dark Tuesday evening. In a warehouse that doubles as a metal workshop by day, instruments are set up and amps come to life. Meanwhile, stories unfold—tales of adventures with Joyfalds, Long Conversations, All Shall Be Well, and Port of Call. Together, these four bring over 100 years of stage experience to the table. Suddenly, the sharp cut of a guitar rips through the space, as Mart (vocals/guitar), Vincent (drums), Bastiaan (bass), and Edoardo (guitar) look ahead. New songs await, inspired by the likes of Sonic Youth, Unwound, The Notwist, and Biffy Clyro. New experiences beckon, because the stage never loses its thrill. With Subsister, a new chapter begins. Subsister (Leiden) delivers energetic, alternative indie music with infectious melodies. Each member brings a unique background—from indie to rock and beyond—which fuses into a sound that’s unmistakably their own. With a few demo tracks available on Bandcamp, the band is poised to make a mark on the music scene. Their songs pulse with emotion, energy, and authenticity. Whether it's an intimate gig at a local venue or a festival crowd, Subsister is always about creating a memorable experience. With relentless passion, they're ready to take the stage, one song at a time.
