Formed in late 2022, Statera was invited to play Simplon UP in the beginning of 2023. With not even half of the setlist written, the band worked hard and managed to play a full set within less than six months of its existence. With a complete setlist and loads of ambition, the band played another fifteen shows in 2023 and in the meantime released their two singles “Slowdrive” and “Regret”. Their music can be described as alternative rock with a punk attitude, indie edge and contradicting storytelling. The latter becoming apparent when trying to decipher the abstract world they paint in their lyrics. The abstract world they create has one clear goal: showing the beauty and pain of being vulnerable when growing up in a chaotic, confusing and contradicting environment. The band is working on more music, more shows and more life experience to share with the world in 2024.
