Created by Tyler Daniel in 2023, Shepherd Bridge is an Idaho-based alternative music project that combines several storytelling elements to follow a protagonist called The Voyager tasked with sailing aboard the vessel the Shepherd Bridge in a desperate attempt to destroy the Evil Things before it is too late. This fiction is a commentary on how frontman Tyler Daniel overcame his own personal darkness by finding the good, true, and beautiful. The debut single "Armor" released December 2024 is an acoustic-folk war ballad that meets alternative rock, with emotional vocals that weaves a song with themes of hope, victory, and battles well fought. This single showcases Shepherd Bridge’s ability to weave storytelling into evocative melodies, capturing themes of vulnerability and strength and offering listeners a sonic journey through personal and universal struggles. The debut concept record "Lucy and the Voyager" releases 11/14/25. The album blends intimate alternative rock with sweeping lyrical storytelling, giving voice to the characters, emotions, and landscapes found within the companion novel The Shore Speaks. Every song echoes a chapter of the story, building a soundscape that moves from haunting reflection to soaring hope.
