Coming from Fryslân, near the coast of the northern region of The Netherlands. The landscape is wide open and flat. The beacon of the lighthouse glides over land, were the wind always blows. Time here is no item. Our music captures the vibes of a stark winter in the north of the country. The wind, the sea, the clay, this is where Seewolf originates. These aspects are contrasted by the analogue warmth of our studio sound. Currently, we are working on our debut album at our own analog recording studio. Here, we use the exact tape machine that served at Wally Heider studios in San Francisco, during the 70’s and 80’s. Taking the time to craft our own sound, we use mostly analog equipment. We are strong believers of this approach being an antithesis to the modern rushed pace of things.
