SCOLASTICS

Born in 2024, SCOLASTICS is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Louis Inghels, who dived in on his mission statement to create music that is equally pounding, straightforward and eclectic. Together with local heavy weights Guus van Oosterum and Niels Klooster, Haarlem’s newest power trio produces a unique mix of alternative rock and metal with the emphasis on powerful vocals, contagious riffs and groove. Elements of Killing Joke, Hüsker Dü and Voivod can be heard in their repertoire, but SCOLASTICS is no throwback act. Armed with an upcoming debut EP that will be released by Geertruida, the band will put their eyes on the Dutch scene with Western Europe in sight. SCOLASTICS is a band on the rise, ready to share themselves with the world.
