same suburban story

Growing up next to each other in the suburbs of small fishing village, Jon Steur and Frank Schilder found an escape in music. This became the cornerstone of their friendship which finalized into Same Suburban Story in 2021. With this project they aim to bring the listener into their world: an easy escape to a better place. These songs are the soundtrack to long nights that become sun kissed mornings to remember with your best friends. Their first single "Cheap Vacation" can be described as a perfect cocktail on the beach consisting of a shot of indie rock, a dash of dreamy pop, topped off with electronic influences.
