Music is sacred in the world of Saint Charlie. A way to close your eyes from the world outside, and dream off from the rush of everyday life. Mark, Thijs, Roel and Mark found each other in 2011, blending their musical backgrounds in an atmosferic indierock sound. Positioning themselves in between bands like Foals, Tame Impala and Kings of Leon. The songs are a catchy whirlwind of riffs and grooves, spacy if possible, in your face when it has to. Moving you in multiple ways. After the release of "Lightning Over Velvet Evenings" in March 2017, the band took their time to write new songs. While already recorded in the summer of 2020 at GieSound-studio, the first new single "Searching Souls" was not released until July 2022 as a summer-anthem to celebrate the first post-pandemic 'Vierdaagsefeesten' in their hometown Nijmegen (NL).
