My name is Regilio Matthews, born in Utrecht in 1993. Music has always been an important part of my life; whenever possible, music was on and I started taking piano lessons at a young age. Although I enjoyed playing the piano, singing also had my interest. However, I never dared to take the step to take it up seriously. I was afraid of other people's opinions. That changed in 2018; when I started group singing lessons with my niece. This brought me a lot of satisfaction. I am currently taking private singing lessons weekly. In 2022, I entered a local talent show for the first time. With success, as I made it to the finals. Unfortunately, I didn't win, but the experience was a win in itself. Since then, I have made great strides and have had several performances. In late 2022, I also started writing my own songs. By now, I have already released several self-written songs. I have also released a number of songs in collaboration with others. In the future, I hope to release more songs. You can listen to my songs on, among others: Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music. All this was something I couldn't have imagined a few years ago. I hope to be able to perform more in the future so that I can be heard by a wider audience! I sing in various genres, both in English and Dutch.
