Rooted in the bustling cities of Düsseldorf and Cologne, Germany, Poppy Wizard emerges as a new force in the alt-rock scene. What began as a creative two-piece experiment during the COVID-19 pandemic has evolved into a full band project, fueled by the shared passion of four long-time friends. Poppy Wizard’s music is an electrifying blend of massive, melodic, and danceable songs that leave audiences entranced. Their nights are spent immersed in songwriting, crafting addictive tunes that delve into life's intricate complexities. Navigating through the waves of time, Poppy Wizard’s sound embodies a fusion of 90s grunge and 2010s alternative rock, oscillating between heavy, dreamy, and wavy textures. On August 23rd, 2024, the band released their debut EP "Holy Spirit Gang" under the banner of Supervillain.
