Fourpiece Plain Bizarre (Groningen/Leeuwarden) is drive-y, laid-back and straightforward garagerock with slacker- and punkinfluences, brought to you with a hint of discomfort. But when you think about it, really think about it, everything is Plain Bizarre. Simply absurd and incomprehensible. This might sound gloomy, Plain Bizarre tries to make something out of it. Existential, societal and personal themes in catchy yet fuzzy songs. For fans of Jean-Paul Sartre and Courtney Barnett. On December 8th 2023 they released their debut EP titled ‘Simply Absurd’ everywhere. Or was it Just Strange? Rather Odd? Quite Peculiar? Fairly Queer? Plain Bizarre.
