The songs of Novko do not paint a typical picture of love or tragedy. Instead, they tell stories of the in-between: a place where things do not make sense yet. While the dreamy guitar riffs draw inspiration from a post-Smiths indie sound, the heavy drums and powerful vocals explore a more alternative rock aesthetic inspired by artists such as The Cure and Silversun Pickups. Combining these elements, Novko is able to provide the audience with a captivating live performance, which has already proven to be successful at venues such as VERA and Neushoorn. In 2022 the band released their first single ‘Just for You’ which premiered on national radio via KINK.
