Niamh Maclennan

Niamh Maclennan from the remote Applecross peninsula in the North Highlands was trained as a Scottish traditional cellist, and later discovered her love for blending the contemporary with the authentic of Scottish traditional music. Niamh combines her trademark chimey electric guitar riffs with emotive vocals, while singing heartfelt lyrics that are insightful and will leave you deep in contemplation. With narrative story-telling apparent in folk songwriting, Niamh shows her appreciation for classic singer-songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Neil Young with catchy melodies and infectious electric guitar riffs.
