Born in Lugo, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, Sara’s relationship with music began at a very young age. Her early influences drew from both the lyrical Italian tradition and the avant-garde fringes of contemporary world music. Driven by a desire to explore the intersection of sound and meaning, she initiated her career by founding and fronting several bands where she served as both lead vocalist and principal songwriter. "Early Projects and Neaskenè (2000s)" In the early 2000s, Sara created the band "Neaskenè", where she began crafting her signature style—poetic, theatrical, and rooted in Mediterranean atmospheres. In 2006, she released her first official album, Apologie d’un canovaccio, through the acclaimed Roman label CNI Music (Compagnia Nuove Indye), known for producing legendary Italian artists like Almamegretta, Agricantus, Teresa De Sio, and Ennio Morricone. "Paris and the Birth of La Confrérie de Vic (2014–2023)" In 2014, Sara relocated to Paris, a city that deeply resonated with her aesthetic and personal sensibilities. There, she launched "La Confrérie de Vic", a multicultural and bilingual project fusing French and Italian language, culture, and sound. Collaborating with Paris-based producer Angelo Di Napoli, she released the single La vie est belle (2014), followed by La poète de la rose (2015), both distributed with support from the artist agency Frimousse Prod. These works culminated in the album Une Italienne à Paris, released in 2018 by Alka Records. The album—composed of 12 tracks in Italian, French, and English—reflected her artistic nomadism, exploring identity, memory, exile, and transformation through lush soundscapes and layered lyrics.
