Moonloops is the indiepop project of singer-songwriter Sarah Dekker. What once began in her bedroom with an old guitar and big dreams has since evolved into a signature dreamy sound that touches more than 10,000 listeners a month. Inspired by artists like Cavetown and Phoebe Bridgers, she sings about everything that makes being young both beautiful and complicated: friendship, loneliness, love, and getting lost in your own head. Moonloops has played at ESNS (2023,2025), Into The Great Wide Open (2025) and was selected for Popronde in 2023. She released her first critically acclaimed studio album, ‘Little Astronaut, Big Dreams’ in 2024, accompanied by a headline tour through the Netherlands. She followed this album up with the EP ‘an inch left to go’, a collection of songs from different phases of her career about her experiences with growth and identity. Her long-awaited second album, Cloud 9, is set to release in 2026, reflecting on which of her big dreams came true and which turned out to be a pipe dream. Moonloops is for little astronauts with big dreams trying to find their place in the world.
