Catchy melodies, raw energy & tight rhythms. Since 2019 MIKKI WOOD combines these three ingredients into a lovely mix of punk & garagerock, influenced by great examples such as The Clash and Rancid. The love from the band for the DIY-ethic is clearly evident in the approach to their music. The debut 7 inch double single ' A Johnny Is A-Comin' / Burning Heart' from 2019 was completely self-produced and released. In 2020 followed by self-produced short movie 'The Shack Session' , a raw live registration recorded in the middle of lockdown. Besides a lot of live shows with Rudeboy, The Briefs and many more the band has been working hard to reach the next milestone, the first full-length of the band. In 2024 'High On The Moon' will be released, a record in which the best of the band comes together into an explosive mix of punk & garagerock songs. Let's go!
