I am a singer songwriter guitarist mainly in the folk music genre now based in a little village in Scotland but originally from Sheffield in England -where I still visit regularly. I started out in the 70s playing lead guitar in a promising blues group, then went on to playing guitar in  pop/country groups The 5th Amendment and later FTM. Around mid 1982 I dropped out of the music scene until around 2002 when I was asked to host and perform a St Patrick's night gig. Since then I play live as a solo singer/guitarist wherever possible, doing mainly Irish and traditional folk songs plus some of my own self penned songs. However all that said I still do some of the covers I used to do in the 70s and 80s as well as some I have picked up along the way. I released my first solo album The Stripey Tent at the end of 2021 and I am currently working on my next album.
