Created during the summer of 2020, Lakeside by Midnight turns music into life, playing with different emotions and always with the fun energy that characterises their stage performances. From pop that makes you move, to rock that breaks your neck, to ballads that get you singing along teary-eyed, Lakeside's show will embark you on a rollercoaster of emotions and leave you wanting for more. Their inspirations are as vast as their styles and go from the rock classics such as Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, Queen, The Runaways and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to more contemporary artists such as the Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, The Regrettes or even Harry Styles. Finally, they do experiment with acoustic and folk music, taking examples of the likes of Phoebe Bridgers, Cat Stevens, and Jessie Murph. LM's new album, "Thieves & Queens'', is made up of 8 original compositions, and gives a glimpse at the band's diverse musical explorations. Since 2021, Lakeside's lineup has been solidified with two guitarists (Matt & Tom), a drummer (Ben), their frontman singer (Prith), and rotating bass players. They all come from different places, but grew up at certain points in Geneva (Switzerland) where they're all back and rocking out, blowing the "smoke (back) on the water" by the lake Léman and reviving the Rock attitude.
