Kole Cook is a solo artist from the North-West of England, UK, who performs in the primary genres of alternative pop rock and singer-songwriter styles and strives to combine these with electronic music to in turn create a new morphed genre of music. Born in 2001, Kole strives to use his young age to tell stories which older people to himself may not understand and make them understandable and again, tell a true and real story. Kole has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Music Production and Performance in June 2022 with honours, and will continue his work in music and art for his career. Kole aims to tell stories within his music about mental health, love, self-image and more and relates these to different experiences of his. Kole often relates his music to that of K.Flay, Radiohead and Skylar Grey, three of his favourite artists. His new song Vessel is intentionally created to make the listener slightly uncomfortable when hearing the lyrics for the first time due to the nature and darker topics in discussion. Kole is currently working from his home studio to make his debut album “Milk Rain” which will hold a mixture of acoustic and electronic music in pop-rock-alternative style genre. He is also working towards a 12 song project, a song a month fully released for the full year of 2023. The art for this album and most of his other music is created by himself from ideas that either relate to the music or photography he has taken which feel natural for the music. In the past, Kole has performed multiple times live at the venue “The Ferret” in Preston, Lancashire and intends to do future performances as a solo artist. Kole has performed both live and in recordings with countless other artists and bands including but not limited to “Crywank”, “IVANA and The Lounge Lizards” (formally known as Neon Knight Club), “The BluFunk Syndicate”, “CoupeDaze”, “A Travellers Heart”, “Old Man Brandon” and more. Kole has also been heard through different radio stations from around the world from Phoenix FM Radio in England all the way to PinguinRadio over in the Netherlands. Kole’s latest songs “Paper Skin” and “Corydoras” are out on all major streaming and music listening platforms.
