Listening to Karvel's particular brand of rock makes you feel like there's sand between your teeth. Don't worry, that's by design. Its music scrapes, screeches, but also soothes. No singular voice, but a plethora of different flavours, all sharing a dark gritty undertone. This melancholic alternative rockband from Rotterdam, NL, is a three-headed formation, featuring: Pelle Kuipers on vocals and guitar, Joe Ziemba on bass, Yoeran Luteijn on drums and backing vocals. For fans of: Stone Temple Pilots, Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Alice in Chains and Muse.
