Jürgen (alias JJ) is a German-born freelance bassist & lately also a composer and producer, meanwhile hailing from Amsterdam, NL. He had been also a semi-pro member/bassist of 2 bands from, first Stuttgart (Germany) & later also with 2 bands now from Amsterdam. He performed often original repertoire at music cafe's, clubs, cultural centers, small festivals & other venues. Most notable band involvement so far had been gigging for a while with "The JJC Helder Band", a A'dam group around female singer Marlies Helder with a.o. guitarist Joop van Nimwegen (Ex-Q65/Livin' Blues) and drummer Pierre van der Linden (Ex-Brainbox/Focus) of a certain Dutch Rock Music legacy. In 2003 he started to explore & focus on composing, arranging, playing & finally also producing mainly own Instrumental Funk-Latin-Jazz-Smooth-World Beat inspired styles. So far a kind of "One-Man-Band" project and all music is done by himself in his limited studio setup at home. He self-released his (digital) album debut "Heartland" in 2005 and a 4-track EP-album in 2009 as preview for his overdue up-following new album "Moving On"..to be continued!
