Joint Five stand for a cappella and a touch of comedy. The word A-Cappella is Italian and is translated by the five Upper Swabians as: “We make music and only with dr Gosch (swabian for "the mouth")". The word comedy, on the other hand, comes from English and means “saudomms Gschwätz zwischa de Liadr” in Swabian. Joint Five's program includes humorous songs by well-known German a cappella groups, their own arrangements of well-known pop and rock songs and also a few self-written songs. They always put together the right mix from their varied repertoire, regardless of whether they are setting off a half-hour musical fireworks display at a company party or organizing an evening-long concert. The boys' tour schedule included and still includes metropolises such as Biberach, Weingarten, Öpfingen, Berlin and Hamburg. They sometimes play in small locations with a living room atmosphere and sometimes in large halls. But one thing is always the same: the enthusiasm for the music that the five singers radiate means that the proverbial spark spreads to the audience after just a few bars.
