Introducing Holman | Tait
Holman|Tait are a longstanding electronic indie-pop songwriting partnership. Willing to experiment with different styles, their writing is melody and lyric focused; their songs relatable to people who are prepared to listen to something different that still feels familiar. If your playlist has songs you can believe as you sing them, Holman|Tait are worth your attention.
In the rearview mirror.
Bryan (Tait) and Graham (Holman) first started working together in 2000, playing their own songs live in local bars and at regional events. These songs were recorded in 2001, but only appeared in 2017 with the album title Burning Through the Night. Their partnership had gone into hiatus navigating families and other projects, reconvening in 2015 when they were asked to play on Radio 95BFM’s Freak the Sheep show . In 2020 Bryan’s songwriting was recognised, becoming a semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition for his composition Silence is the Sound.
And now.
After a 2021 self-produced eponymous release, Holman|Tait have been remixing their own songs in collaboration with other producers, and creating video content to support the release of new material in 2022, which includes Senses (Bigger than the Both of Us), chosen by Wigwam Radio to feature on their Indie Jukebox show.
