Gussy Q, the Dutch/American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, currently resides on the Atlantic coast of southern Spain with his girlfriend and cat. Traveling with his portable recording studio, 'The Space Ranger,' he captures waves and writes songs in surfy and sunny locales. The song 'Kiss You' combines psychedelic rock sounds with electro-synthy elements and was recorded some time ago, featuring Rens Ottink (Temples, Pauw) on drums. This cheeky, straightforward track narrates the experience of being at a festival, spotting someone to share a prolonged kiss—perhaps on the lips. The song builds tension from spotting someone to the moment of going for it. 'Going for it' is the underlying theme of the upcoming album 'Hot Sox,' with 'Kiss You' serving as its debut single. This spring and summer, Gussy Q embarks on a one-man show tour along the southern European Atlantic coast. Stay tuned for a musical journey to infinity and beyond!
