Set against a kaleidoscopic backdrop of smog and sound, Los Angeles-based musician and producer Fraymes has drawn favorable comparison on his combination of the textural and visceral sonic explorations of Boards of Canada and my bloody valentine, with the poignant exposition of indie and art rock luminaries such as Radiohead and Beck. Through his music, Fraymes looks for solace in the unanswerable, and crafted these songs over the past two and a half years in spare rooms and makeshift studios around the world, as a reaction to the brutal now; the quickening of the ever-trudging wheel of time, and what happens when we want to move forward, but feel left behind.
