Fabian van Heesewijk

Fabian van Heesewijk (20) is een opkomende muzikant en songwriter uit Den Bosch. Zijn muziek zweeft ergens tussen alternatieve rock en folk. De nummers gaan van introspectieve ballades tot existentiële experimentele rockcomposities. De poëtische maar persoonlijke teksten worden omhuld door vloeiende gitaar partijen in zijn onmiskenbare eigen stijl. Fabian deelt het podium met zijn vaste band, Thijs van Biene (Drums) en Nyx (Bas), beiden studenten aan de Rockacademie Tilburg. Met hun energie en virtuositeit tillen ze Fabians nummers naar een nieuwe dementie. In 2024 maakte Fabian van Heesewijk deel uit van de selectie voor het landelijke POPSPOT traject waarvoor hij een live sessie opnam in de studio van De Staat, won hij de Gouden Thermometer op 39 Graden Festival en werd hij 2de tijdens Kunstbende Noord Brabant. The songs range from introspective ballads to existential experimental rock compositions. His poetic but personal lyrics are enveloped by flowing guitar parts in his unmistakably unique style. Fabian shares the stage with his backing band, Thijs van Biene (Drums) and Nyx (Bass), both students at Rockacademie Tilburg. With their energy and virtuosity, they bring new dimensions to Fabian's songs.
