The Hague-based bass player and songwriter Timothy Dunn continues to carve out his own creative path with his project Dunn. After gaining experience as a bassist in various bands, he began writing his own material—resulting in his debut EP Songs of a Ponderous Mind (2011), a raw and intimate first step. With Solastalgia (2018), Dunn broadened his musical palette by blending indie, rock, and pop with a progressive twist—think Queen, Tame Impala, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra—and introduced a theatrical, introspective voice that explores the fears and questions of modern life. On Agency (2024), that voice sounds more confident than ever: five eclectic tracks full of offbeat grooves, lush synths, and unexpected turns reveal a playful yet urgent energy. Now, Dunn opens a new chapter with an upcoming EP that once again takes a fresh turn. Born from his love of looping and jamming with a drum machine, these new songs capture a raw, spontaneous energy and a deepened sense of groove. The EP will be released as a series of singles starting in early 2026.
