DinosaursRex is the solo project of Beluugs, a powerful force in the doom, sludge, and stoner metal scenes. Hailing from Groningen and emerging in 2024, DinosaursRex delivers a crushing blend of heavy riffs, thunderous rhythms, and atmospheric soundscapes—all crafted by a single simple person. While inspired by the primal force of bands like MyDyingBride, 1000mods, Sunn O))) and Cult of Luna, DinosaursRex takes a more introspective turn, delving into personal struggles and inner battles. The debut EP, Bones & Feathers, released in September 2024, is a monumental work that transports listeners back to an age when dinosaurs roamed the earth. DinosaursRex isn’t just a solo project—it’s a journey through time, where the ancient past collides with the crushing weight of doom. Prepare to be engulfed by its primordial sound.
