De Weach as a folk duo emanated from the project Odalsvegen. Odalsvegen is a project by Jon Metz and Cobi Mulder (of the band Jcoba). During a residency with Popfabryk, they stayed in a cabin along the Odalsvegen in Norway, a road winding through forests, lakes, and mountains. There, new music emerged, inspired by the tranquility and mystery of the surroundings. With acoustic guitars and dreamy melodies, they captured that atmosphere on location.
