Since its foundation in April 2018, Breda garage rock band Blue Vultures has always been about eclecticism, resulting in a wide range of inspirations and sounds, such as Nothing But Thieves, Wunderhorse and Jimmy Eat World. This put the band in the spotlight with talent programme Breda’s Most Wanted in 2020, which led to playing jam-packed and sold out venues. In later years, the band won the Hoeven Live festival singer-songwriter contest with ‘Daily Commuters’ and 2024 single ‘Escape This Town’ became their national airwaves debut when it was played on KINK Radio. It also reached second place on the IndieXL Free40 Indie Charts. On 17 October, the band released their first studio EP called ‘Origins’.
