With their fun and catchy mix of punk, post-punk, garage and alternative rock Apeshit make an approachable style of punk. Their style is characterized by energetic riffs, melodic hooks, heavy vocals and a hint of humor. The band from Utrecht has had a big part in the current revival of young punk bands in their city. Together With bands like No Brains, Bowl, Fit and Spurn they show that the local and national punkscene is thriving with new and exciting bands. After the release of their debute ep “Can I Be Your Monkey?” On plato Utrecht records the band is back with new singles and a new sound. Their new songs “Hellraiser” and “I’m still breathing” got well recieved by national and international media. More songs are on the way this summer and the bands isn’t planning on slowing down anytime soon.
