Hi! my name is Alexine, I’m a Dutch/American artist, and if you made it to this page that means that you somehow found my musical project “Alexine” in the vast sea of artists on the internet. So grab yourself a cup of tea while I tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 21 years old, was born and raised in The Netherlands, and started writing and producing music when I was 16. I love creating soundscapes, layering vocal harmonies and storytelling in my songs, and use it to reflect the little world inside my head, my experiences, and my personal perspectives. I talk about my emotions, but also speak up on societal subjects I think are important and should be addressed. In August, I released my latest single “Wishing Well” after my self-produced debut EP “Room for Improvement” came out in March 2024. Over 80,000 people listened to it, and it caught the eye of North Sea Jazz, where I performed in July together with my band.
