“Strong” is the new single from songwriters Angelique Piovillico & Patrick de Kok a.k.a. June Sixteen. The track is a co-production with Daan Janzing. Celia van Onna provided the song with her beautiful vocals. They previously worked together on the June Sixteen debut album “Traveling Colors”, which released on June 16th 2023. “Strong” is best described as an alternative art pop song with soft influences of Kate Bush and Billie Eilish. The story is about hope and strength. Not giving up in hard times. Singer Celia van Onna (artist name: Onna) is known for her Keltische earth music. In 2024 she launched her debut album “Barefoot Promenade”. Daan Janzing works as a producer nowadays. He used to play together with Patrick in the dark-rock band “My Favorite Scar”. My Favorite Scar shared the stage with big bands such as “Kiss” and Motörhead”. This new fragile June Sixteen song releases on march 16th 2025 accompanied by an atmospheric video. It will be available on all music platforms. June Sixteen started 5 years ago when lovebirds Angelique & Patrick began to write songs together and asked their talented music friends to co-create. Every track with different musicians and in different styles of music. They previously worked with musicians such as drummer Mike Coolen (Within Temptation), Mattanja Joy Bradley and Travis Toy (Journey, Cheryl Crow) and many more.
